ZANE PETERSON

Welcome! I am an LPC-MH that has been practicing in the Sioux Falls area since 2015.  I like to describe myself as a generalist and enjoy working with a wide variety of people and issues. I became a therapist due to my strong desire to help people make meaningful change that will last them a lifetime.  My experience during my career so far has included working at an inpatient hospital providing both individual and group therapy.  After the hospital, I began working at an outpatient clinic where I did both individual and couple’s therapy.

I’ve developed an interest in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples; providing individual and couples therapy, as well as evaluations for ADHD. My areas of interest include ADHD, developmental disorders, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, trauma, and relationships.  I believe in helping people find the tools that fit them best as they strive toward greater understanding and fulfillment in their lives.  This allows people to not just get through a difficult situation once, but gives them the skills and abilities to prevent or manage overwhelmingly stressful circumstances.  I look forward to walking with you along your path as you take steps towards bettering yourself and achieving a life that is fulfilling to you.
